The time blindness test
Every other “time blindness test” asks you whether you lose track of time. This one measures it.
Four timing tasks, taken from time-perception research. Each one explains itself when you get to it, and the first is a practice go that does not count.

Educational tool, not a diagnosis. “Time blindness” is not a condition in the DSM-5, and nothing here can tell you whether you have ADHD.
Copy the interval
The task
A light comes on, then goes out. Press start and press stop when you think the same amount of time has gone by.
The vowel game
Click the tile on the right only when it shows one of A, E, I, O, U. It is there to stop you counting — nothing else. It has no effect on your score.
Make one minute
No light to copy this time — just your own sense of how long a minute is.
The task
Press start, then press stop when you believe 60 seconds have gone by. There is no clock and no progress bar.
The vowel game
Same as before: click the tile only when it shows a vowel. It stops you counting, and it is not scored.
How long have you been here?
Last timing task, and the only one about the session as a whole.

Without checking a clock, put in how much time you think has passed since you pressed “Start the test”.
Why it matters
This is a retrospective duration judgement — the closest thing here to the afternoon that vanishes on you.

What each number means
Clock speed. Copy intervals shorter than they were and your internal clock is running fast — time feels like it is passing quicker than it is, so “I have been at this ages” arrives before you have actually been at it ages. Longer copies mean the opposite.
Average error. How far off you were, in either direction. The 2021 meta-analysis in JAACAP pooled 26 reproduction studies (2,364 people) and found a medium-sized increase in absolute error for people with ADHD.
Consistency. How much your error moved between trials. The meta-analysis authors put it plainly: people with ADHD are “more variable in their time estimates … irrespective of the paradigm examined.” Being reliably 20% off is a different problem from being 5% off then 40% off — the second cannot be fixed by a habit, only by an external clock.
Retrospective gap. How wrong you were about the session as a whole. This is the one that maps onto real life: the afternoon that vanished, the “quick” task that ate two hours.
You may have noticed we never told you how long this would take. That was deliberate. Every other test on the internet opens with “takes 3 minutes”, which hands you the answer to the last question before you have started — and we would rather have your number than ours. Same reason the practice round did not show you how close you got, and the same reason the letter tile changes at an irregular pace instead of a steady beat.
Your self-report vs your performance
What this is and is not
These are web versions of paradigms used in time-perception research — reproduction, production, and retrospective estimation. A browser is not a lab: your timing depends on your hardware, your attention, caffeine, sleep and whether you cheated. There are no clinical norms for a test taken this way, so your result is reported against perfect accuracy, not against a diagnostic cutoff. Nothing here diagnoses ADHD or anything else, and nothing here treats it. If time management is genuinely affecting your work or relationships, that is a conversation with a clinician, not a webpage.
